The most eclectic of the region’s suburbs, the mix of industrial urban living with residential has dominated much of the transformation of these suburbs that were once a hive of activity for commerce.

The inner suburbs of Newcastle provide wonderful safe family living over a variety of suburbs dating back to the early 1900s.

At the heart of the region, Newcastle City now sprawls out over a number of highly regarded suburbs with the exciting Honeysuckle Precinct dotted with restaurants, cafes and bars.

Situated around 16 kilometres west of the Newcastle CBD lies Cameron Park – a relatively new suburb, having first been developed around the year 2000.

Cardiff lies within the Lake Macquarie Local Government Area, and includes other suburbs like Glendale and Macquarie Hills.

New Lambton and surrounds are established suburbs, where families tend to settle for long periods of time.
