The Adolphe Shipwreck,
Stockton Breakwall

Fern Bay is a quaint coastal enclave featuring a modern housing estate, which is popular among young families, downsizers, and investors due to its high rental yields. The large, contemporary homes attract many buyers seeking a peaceful lifestyle. Residents enjoy numerous parks and convenient access to Fern Bay Public School.

Fullerton Cove has experienced steady growth, particularly among residents aged 50 and over. The Cove Village is now complete, and construction is underway for the Ingenia Lifestyle Village – ‘Element’. Recent years have seen an influx of buyers from Sydney and interstate, drawn by the resort-style facilities owned by the community. The opportunity to own both house and land within these villages is appealing due to the security it offers and the absence of exit fees.

Stockton’s town centre is just a short drive from both Fern Bay and Fullerton Cove, where residents can take a five-minute ferry ride to the Newcastle CBD.

Both Fern Bay and Fullerton Cove act as gateways to the scenic Port Stephens, while also being conveniently situated just 20 minutes from Newcastle. Williamtown’s Newcastle Airport, a short 10-minute drive away, is currently undergoing significant upgrades, with terminal expansions set to be completed by early 2025.

Recently, the area has seen significant population growth, with a parcel of land at 42 Fullerton Cove Road being rezoned. A development application is currently with Port Stephens Council for a supermarket and specialty shops.
